Wireless Access

All buildings in the School of Engineering utilize SoE Research Access Points. More information about this service available to all Rutgers University students, faculty, and affiliates can be found in the offsite Research Wireless homepage: https://services.cs.rutgers.edu/auth/help.html

Any wireless access points installed without permission will be removed from the network.

 

Network Troubleshooting Tips

1. Make sure you are using only one physical connection, either wifi or ethernet. You can't use both at the same time. When using an ethernet cable, wifi should be disabled. When wifi is on, the ethernet cable should be disconnected.
2. Report a network connectivity problem to ECS through the ticketing system. Specify your location, network jack port number, and the MAC address of the system.
