- Two Sun E450 enterpise servers, 4 CPUs each, these are the main central user machines
- Network Appliance - NetApp F740, this is the main storage array for general use. Total storage 550 gigabytes.
- Compute farm - 16 unit Dell Power Edge 6350 running Linux

It has been noted that on many occasions the building doors are locked on the weekends. We are trying to get this resolved.
Anyone with an account for the DSV lab or EIT can ssh into dsv.rutgers.edu and access the system remotely.
You have access to all of your sun files that you can access from the DSV lab machines.

If class is being conducted you must be quiet. When large classes are in session, the lab is closed. Refer to EIT Lab Schedule to see when classes are scheduled.

Summer hours may change in July for the Governors School.
Network access policy
All computers attached to Rutgers Networks must be registered. No one is allowed to simply connect a computer to the network with out registering and getting an assigned TCP/IP address unique for that computer. Go to the IP Request Form to request an IP address. Most request are processed within 1 buisness day.

Rutgers has a policy regarding the use of computer facilities that everyone is expected to follow.
