 The Design Simulation Visualization (DSV) Lab is located in B125 in the Mechanical Engineering building. The DSV lab was built during 1999/2000 school year. In the summer of 2004 it was upgraded to 60 Dell PCs, 2.8 gigahz with 1 gig of ram, The machines can boot to either Windows or Linux. The machines are connected to the E450 Sun servers via 100 megabit ethernet. Classes are taught in the lab with the students using the machines during class to follow along with the instructors. |
