SPICE
SPICE is a powerful general purpose analog circuit simulator that is used to verify circuit designs and to predict the circuit behavior.
This is of particular importance for integrated circuits. It was for this reason that SPICE was originally developed at the
Electronics Research Laboratory of the University of California, Berkeley (1975), as its name implies:
Simulation Program for Integrated Circuits Emphasis.
OREGANO is an application for schematic capture and simulation of electrical circuits. The actual simulation is performed by SPICE,
which is required for simulation, but not neccessary to run the application.
- To RUN Oregano, simply type oregano at the unix prompt.
- A built in user guide is available. Simply load Oregano, click on help, getting started.
